The John S. Mulholland Family Foundation participated for the third time in the Annual Greg Gannon Canned Food Drive on December 3, 2016.

More than a quarter century ago, Greg Gannon started a neighborhood food drive, where families could come together and help the less fortunate throughout the region. Millions of cans of food later, this food drive is Greg’s legacy. This year, hundreds of families came together to collect more than 150,000 cans of food to help scores of pantries and agencies throughout the region.

Our Foundation was pleased to collect and distribute 19.230 cans of food not only to our three pantries, but two additional ones in need as well. Most importantly, all of our pantries are fully stocked as we head into the very difficult winter months.

Thanks to Charlie Hennessy, Jerry Teresinski and all the good people of Holy Trinity Georgetown for their generosity, the volunteers who came out on a Saturday to receive the goods at our pantries, and the many families throughout the region who participated and contributed. And, most importantly, to Rick Gannon, Stephanie McGovern, Jessica Walsh and the entire Greg Gannon Team.
