The John S. Mulholland Family Foundation welcome five new members of the Board of Directors: Patricia Kavanaugh, David Piscola, Richard D. Trenk, Esq., C. Aaron Carden, and S. Patrick Mulholland.

 

  • Patricia Kavanaugh has joined the JSM Board of Directors. Mrs. Kavanaugh, a 2014 recipient of the John S. Mulholland Award, is Director of Social Concerns of the Shrine of the Most Blessed Sacrament in Washington. Under her leadership and direction, the parish was a 2014 Platinum Sponsor. In addition to their extraordinary financial support, the parish contributed thousands upon thousands of cans of food, hundreds upon hundreds of pounds of fresh produce, meat and poultry, and made significant introductions to advance the mission of the Foundation. Pat’s extensive experience in serving the inner city poor is a valuable asset to the Foundation in the new year.
  • David Piscola, General Manager of The Capital Hilton in Washington, has joined the JSM Board of Directors. Mr. Piscola, a Culinary Institute of America-trained chef, has held numerous executive positions with Hilton Worldwide, most recently as General Manager of the Atlanta Airport Hilton, before returning to Washington. David was host and corporate sponsor of the highly successful JSM Gala held at his hotel in November and embraces our mission of serving the working poor of inner city Washington.
  • Richard D. Trenk, Esq. has joined the JSM Board of Directors. Mr. Trenk is a prominent New Jersey attorney and founder and partner of the firm of Trenk DiPasquale in West Orange. No stranger to Washington, Richard received his undergraduate degree at American University here and has embraced our mission of serving the working poor of inner city Washington, as a 2014 Gala Gold Sponsor and in his unbridled commitment to out future endeavors.
  • C. Aaron Carden has joined the JSM Board of Directors. Cody is Legislative and Communications Associate at the Cigar Rights of America. A native of Tennessee, Mr. Carden has been an enthusiastic supporter of the Foundation in the first year, a generous supporter of the Gala, and is full of terrific ideas to broaden our base in the coming year.
  • S. Patrick Mulholland has joined the JSM Board of Directors, representing the third generation of Mulhollands on the Board, and charged with broadening our base of support among his generation. Patrick has participated in a number of our collections and deliveries and grocery shopping excursions and will also work to increase our corporate collections in the community.
