Nancy E. Roman, President and CEO of Capital Area Food Bank (CAFB) and Brian M. Mulholland, Chairman and President of the John S. Mulholland Family Foundation (JSM) have announced a partnership between the two organizations.
CAFB has long been the preeminent organization in the Washington area working to solve hunger and its companion problems by partnering with 444 community organizations in the region and helping 540,000 people each year get get access to good, healthy food.
JSM is proud to be the newest partner. Entering our fourth year, we can only keep up with the incredible demand through the goodness of CAFB and this partnership, as we now assist 750 families each month.
As we enter this next phase on our journey, we remain grateful to our many supporters who each light candles in the darkness of hunger and poverty in our city.
