The John S. Mulholland Family Foundation, Inc. is pleased to announce that we are now serving a third pantry, St. Thomas More.
St. Thomas More is located at 4275 – 4th Street, SE Washington DC and is under the direction of Father Raymond Moore. The Outreach Pantry is supervised by Mary Waters.
St. Thomas More serves approximately a hundred families each week in Southeast near Southern Avenue and South Capitol Street. Like our other pantries, the need surpasses the current supply, and so JSM is delighted to play a small part in the important work that they do. St. Thomas More, like the other pantries, serves needy individuals and families regardless of religion or station.
The addition of the third pantry was one of our goals for 2014; we are pleased to accomplish it so early in the year. Board Member Roman A. Holton is currently studying the possibility of a fourth pantry at some time in the future.
