Our Lenten Food Drive has concluded and we wish to thank all who made it the great success that it was. 
 
12 churches and 2 high schools participated and the results were 50,549 cans of food.
 
The high schools participating were Elizabeth Seton High School in Bladensburg and Academy of the Holy Cross in Kensington.
 
The churches participating were Our Lady of Grace and St. Bernadette, both in Silver Spring; St. Peter’s Olney; St. Jerome Hyattsville; St. Paul Damascus; Our Lady of Lourdes Bethesda; and Shrine of the Most Blessed Sacrament, Annunciation, St. Ann, St. Thomas Apostle, Epiphany, St. Augustine, all in the District.
 
A third of our Board of Directors participated and we are most grateful: Our President, Patrick Mulholland; our Treasurer, Bill Mulholland; and Directors Kimberly Davis-Riffe, David M. Gardiner, Fr. Scott Hahn, Mack Kennedy, Brian Mangino, and Susan Reaman.
 
#ittakesavillage to produce these results: scores of volunteers at the pantries, churches, and schools. Literally thousands of students, parents, faculty, and parishioners. Drivers, sorters, and other organizers.
