In addition to their wonderful monetary donation, their top Washington area executive, Sharon Briskman, Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer has joined our Board of Directors, they have organized a canned goods drive in their Rockville building for next month, and they will be in attendance in full force at the Gala.
Most importantly, however, is to have the support of a company which has a corporate culture of giving. Greystone, a Healthcare and Multi-family Mortgage Lending firm, with interests in property management and development and a host of other areas, is based in Manhattan, with offices all over the country. They donate 50% of their corporate profits each year to charitable organizations and efforts and we are delighted they have chosen us. They said they did so because our Foundation is 100% volunteer, so actual donations go to the Mission, not overhead.
