A CAPITAL EVENING II at the Capital Hilton on November 20, 2015 was a huge success, thanks in large measure to Gala Chairs Jodi Moraru, Greta Kreuz and Susan Reaman — and the incredible generosity of Diamond Sponsor GREYSTONE and major donors Capital Hilton, EVOKE, EPI Printing, and Caruso Florist — as well as the Platinum, Gold and Silver Sponsors.
More than 200 guests filled the Congressional Ballroom of the Capital Hilton, enjoying the superb cuisine of the hotel’s chefs and the music of Cheek to Cheek, exciting auction items, and the company and conversation of like-minded old and new friends who are committed to serving the poor in our Nation’s Capital. The Gala boasted a 45% increase in attendance over last year and a more than 50% overall increase in gross revenue.
The John S. Mulholland Family Foundation already boasts what is considered to be the lowest Gala ticket price in the Washington Area while providing one of the highest profitability records, ensuring that the lion’s share of all donations actually go to our mission of serving the poor in the District of Columbia.
