Many thanks to the good people of Giant Food for donating $1,000 in Giant Gift Cards to the John S. Mulholland Family Foundation.
They do this each spring and we are grateful. Of course, we’re in one of the stores almost every day and spend tens of thousands of dollars a year. But they are convenient to our five pantries, they give us great service and many of their staff members are considered friends.
Our five pantries are among the few in Washington that provide items like fresh produce, milk and eggs, meat and poultry. In fact, we have purchased and delivered 30 tons since we began almost five years ago. You wouldn’t want to eat just canned goods and the families we serve shouldn’t have to either.
