The Inaugural Gala Dinner and Silent Auction for the John S. Mulholland Family Foundation was held November 21, 2014 at The Capital Hilton in Washington, DC. More than 150 guests attended.

Aimee Dominick served as Gala Chair and Greta Kreuz, former anchor/reporter for WJLA-ABC7 was the Emcee.

The first John S. Mulholland Awards were presented to Aimee Dominick (Board Member of the Year), Accenture Federal Services (Company of the Year), St. Vincent Pallotti and Elizabeth Seton (Outstanding High Schools) and Shrine of the Most Blessed Sacrament (Outstanding Support from a Congregation). Music was provided by Cheek to Cheek and the Elizabeth Seton High School Honors Concert Choir. The JSM Video “Dignity” premiered at the event.

Guests bid on a variety of forty-five auction items during the reception, ranging from a Hawaiian vacation to a private dinner at the Philippine Ambassador’s residence to a David Yurman ladies watch.

The John S. Mulholland Family Foundation was founded to aid in feeding the working poor of inner city Washington. Currently, the Foundation stocks food pantries in Southeast and Northeast Washington.
